Tricycle Shop in Legazpi
A tricycle is a common form of transportation in the Philippines. It is essentially a motorcycle with a hand-made sidecar attached. They are, along with the jeepneys, the workhorses of the Philippines. A tricycle can carry one, two, three, or four or more people. But it can also carry quite substantial loads. The roof rack and the rack on the back are welded to be very strong for just that reason. This is the basic welded frame of a tricycle sidecar. It is nowhere near complete, of course. This is just the shell. When finished, I was told it would cost P22,000 (about $550 US).
